In the fall of 2013, four very different women, with an “affinity” for music and a cappella harmony, joined together to form a quartet. Affinity placed sixth in their first regional competition and this past spring received second place medals. Gaylene Rolling, singing lead, has been a member of the Spirit of Harmony Chorus since 1991; Marcia Klingbeil, singing bass, has been a member of the chorus since 1981; Mindy Jurgensen, singing tenor, has been a member since 1986; and Judy Weipert, singing baritone, has been a Sweet Adeline since 1976.
